A new project is ongoing on the case-study of the Rassegna Internazionale del Film Scientifico-Didattico, the University of Padua and the Venice Film Festival, between 1956-1975 in Italy.
This archival-based research project investigates how science film festivals are privileged sites for studying the relationship between science, cinema, expertise and audiences during the twentieth century. The period examined runs, more specifically, from the mid-1950s to the late 1970s. For more information visit the project page in the “Projects” section of our website.
