In line with the thematic session “The Emerging Practices of Scientific Research in Laboratories” (coordinated by Federico Neresini and Assunta Viteritti), which took place during the IV National Congress of STS Italy, the research unit Pa.S.T.I.S. organizes a seminar on the following topics:
– The role of tools and technical objects in mediating the processes of scientific knowledge production and in the stabilization of organizational structures and networking;
– Technologies for the production of images and visualization techniques as a specific form of presentation of scientific data and of technoscience;
– The relationship between the practices of scientific research and learning processes;
– Methodological approaches to the study of scientific practices.
The seminar will be attended by those who have discussed a contribution to the Thematic Session “The Emerging Practices of Scientific Research in Laboratories”, at the IV National Congress of STS Italy.
